Les Didiers is a 2.5-hectare monopole of Domaine des Hospices de Nuits, located adjacent to the important Premier Cru Les Saint-Georges. Domaine Hubert Lignier does not produce this wine from its own vineyards – since the 2005 vintage, it has annually purchased 228-liter barrels at the traditional Hospices de Nuits auction.

The wine is produced at Hospices de Nuits, and after the auction, it is transferred to Hubert Lignier's cellar, where its aging continues until bottling. The label thus bears both names: the wine's origin belongs to Hospices de Nuits, while its final form and élevage are overseen by Domaine Hubert Lignier.
