Très Girard is a village plot located in the southern part of Morey-Saint-Denis, just below the Premier Cru Clos Sorbé. The wine comes from approximately half a hectare of vineyards planted in the 1970s, which Domaine Hubert Lignier has been working with since 2009.

Très Girard has softer tannins and a more open structure than the firmer Morey-Saint-Denis Trilogie, making it approachable at a younger age. Its delicacy is so pronounced that, according to the winery itself, tasters often mistake it for Chambolle-Musigny.
