Les Seuvrées is a Village vineyard located on the very southern edge of Gevrey-Chambertin, right on the border with Morey-Saint-Denis. The vineyard lies directly beneath Grand Cru Mazoyères-Chambertin – just cross road D974 and Les Seuvrées begins. This gives it a very interesting position within the Village appellation.

Domaine Hubert Lignier owns 1.02 hectares of exceptionally old vines here, planted gradually between 1938 and 1966. The winery itself describes Les Seuvrées as a fleshier and more structured Gevrey, yet one that retains elegance and has very good aging potential.
