The white La Maltroie Bruna Colina comes from a single 0.55-hectare plot of Ez Crets. The same site also gives the winery the red La Maltroie, but that is made from a different, substantially smaller part planted with Pinot Noir.

The clay-limestone subsoil and the plot's location are reflected in the white wine by greater depth and fuller structure. La Maltroie thus stands in the offer as a more concentrated counterpart to the higher-lying Premier Crus, such as Les Chaumées or En Remilly. Despite its fullness, it retains balance and potential for long-term aging.
