Meursault comes from Domaine Henri Delagrange's own vineyards in two named plots: Les Forges with red ochre soil and Les Magnys with a gravel subsoil. The family acquired them in 2005 and cultivates them themselves.

A total of 0.54 hectares are planted with approximately forty-year-old vines. The grapes from both plots are processed together, and the wine then matures for twelve months in barrels. Meursault is thus a Chardonnay based on the winery's own plots and on the combination of two different terroirs.
