Les Seuvrées is a Village vineyard located on the southernmost edge of Gevrey-Chambertin, right on the border with Morey-Saint-Denis. The vineyard lies directly below the Grand Cru Mazoyères-Chambertin – just cross the D974 road and Les Seuvrées begins. This gives it a very interesting position within the Village appellation.

Domaine Hubert Lignier owns 1.02 hectares of exceptionally old vines here, planted gradually between 1938 and 1966. The winery itself describes Les Seuvrées as a meatier and more structured Gevrey, yet one that retains elegance and has very good aging potential.
